Bon Secours Hospital Galway Goes Live

We were delighted to implement the fourth successful Bon Secours Hospital to go-live with the GE HealthCare Centricity™ High Acuity Anaesthesia solution in Galway.
The solution was implemented using the 80%-ready Irish Standard Configuration (CISC). This significantly reduces the configuration effort required for the hospital to implement the system, and clinicians benefit from a standardised software solution for anaesthetics throughout Ireland.  20% is then customised to localised customer standards to create a bespoke solution.
OxygenCare’s Jessica Redmond Kelly Clinical Application Specialist worked closely with Nichola O’Connell Falvey to create this.
We are excited to share the new IT system Intra Op Module from GE Centricity is now up and running live in Theatre and the Cath lab in Galway.
Thanks to the Bon Secours Galway team, Helena Treacy , Theatre Service Manager, Prof John McDonnell CAIO, Jennifer McGrath CNM Anaesthesia, Conor O’Driscoll IT consultant and project manager, Nichola O Connell Falvey, Business Intelligence Analyst/ Clinical Nurse Manager, Dr Bajwa Cons Anaesthetist, Sherly John Staff Nurse, Jomol Raju SN, Dr Jaime Rojas Cons Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia, Cezar Kruppa CNM, Dhanya Janardhanan SN and all who helped make this a success.
Continuing our partnership with the Bon Secours Health Group, we look forward to implementing this in Bon Secours Hospital Cork in early 2026.
