LIFENET data management

The LIFENET suite of products are designed to help manage important patient data. When retrieved, the data can be critical in prescribing follow up care for Cardiac Arrest Survivors. This web-based software allows emergency medical service (EMS) responders to capture data on critical resuscitation parameters. DT EXPRESS™ is a free of charge software package which permits download of this data and enables local printing or emailing of the case to where it’s needed.  This data can be transmitted from the field to the hospital and inter-departmentally for effective emergency care when response time is critical.

Product description

The highly secure LIFENET system comprises several communication and data management tools including:

  • LIFENET® Alert Client to alert, manage and share an incoming 12 lead ECG report in the hospital.
  • LIFENET® Consult application for remote consulting of a patient’s case – users can sign in and out of availability on their iPhones.
  • LIFENET® OnePush which simultaneously contacts relevant personnel and automatically activates a protocol.
  • LIFENET® Asset allows users to track equipment health status, monitor usage and manage software updates for all the devices in your organisation.

To meet customer demands and as an example of market leading technologies, Physio-Control now offers hospitals and clinics the LIFEPAK® 20e defibrillator/monitor with Code Management Module. This is equipped with WiFi and can be set up to automatically transmit its health status as well as all new patient data to LIFENET and then onto Code-Stat Suite’s Database for later clinical review. This makes it easy and effective to manage Cardiac Arrest data and ensuring it is all collected, minimising the opportunity to lose data.

With LIFENET®, the seamless handover of patient from paramedic crews to hospital staff saves valuable time as monitoring readings and data capture don’t need to be repeated or relayed verbally. The early transmission of data can help staff to be ready on the patient’s arrival, speeding treatment and helping to save more lives.
