The 3100B High Frequency Oscillatory Ventilator (HFOV) features revolutionary technology to gently inflate the lungs of adult and older paediatric patients for effective ventilation treatment and lung optimisation including early intervention of respiratory failure. 
The 3100A model is used for neonatal and paediatric patients.

Product description

  • The revolutionary technology of the 3100B facilitates lung protection by means of gentle ventilation and optimal lung recruitment. 
  • It is easier to manage low tidal volume with the 3100B’s use of near dead space tidal volumes for maximised lung protection. 
  • Continuous distending pressures up to 55 cmH2O can be applied using the 3100B HFOV thereby recruiting and normalising lung structure.
  • Unique to the CareFusion high frequency oscillatory ventilators, air trapping is averted due to the active exhalation produced.
